Organic coffee is grown without the use of fertilisers, pesticides or chemicals, resulting in a sustainable farm that keeps the air, land, and water clean of any contaminants. Only organic fertilisers, such as coffee pulp, chicken manure, or compost, are used to cultivate the coffee. Organic farms also help to address climate change by emitting less carbon than chemical farms and with Shade Grown Coffee Farms (Farms that intersperse the coffee trees with other shady trees like Papaya and mango) they also create an ecosystem that allows insects and bees to pollinate the coffee trees as well as consuming a considerable amount of carbon dioxide and producing fresh, clean oxygen.
