My nose is not as good as the experts

The first impressions I take in before drinking my first cup is the smell of the grind. Here we have the coffee with the highest cup score yet my nose says it's too pungent or something and would rather the blends I've enjoyed before. I should give this the highest score but my nose says I'll be ordering a blend again next time

Lovely roast. Works well in my Bialetti 'percolator' as well as a French press. Will definitely buy these beans again.
