Coffee from Central America
Central America is a massive contributor to the global production of coffee with regions of Costa Rica, Honduras, Nicaraguan, Mexico and Guatemala becoming famous for their spectacular beans. Because of the similar climates, altitudes and processing techniques of the countries, cup qualities vary slightly in acidity (from apple-like to cherry-like), with most possessing a certain brown sugar sweetness that sometimes moves into chocolate or buttery notes. Coffees from Central America are generally noted for being well-balanced, with fruitiness acting as a great backdrop for some lovely rich cocoa flavours. One of the greatest Decaf coffees we’ve ever had the chance to drink comes from Mexico and is washed with the highest mountain’s glacial water. If you love the flavour of coffee but can’t always have the hit, then try our famous Mexican Mountain water Decaf - you will be amazed!
