About the farm

Guji coffee was bundled into coffee from Sidama (another region in Ethiopia) for many years but only since 2002 have they recognised that the coffee is actually quite different to any other region. Since then, Guji has come up through the ranks of specialty coffee to try and claim the title of the best, and they aren’t that far from it already with their amazing tea-like jasmine, floral, melons and peaches being the most prominent flavours.

The landscape around the Guji Zone is mountainous and rocky with red volcanic soil. This soil is extremely fertile and rich in nutrients making it the perfect terroir for intense and sweet coffee cherries to flourish.
