The lowdown

From the mountains of Mexico comes this stunning tasting
and 100% certified Organic and Rainforest Alliance Decaf
Coffee. This decaf uses only pure glacial water from Pico de
Orizaba, the highest mountain in Mexico, to separate the
caffeine from the beans.

The process is tedious and the production workers must be
fastidious about how they handle the beans, the water that
they use and the length of time to retain the full flavours of
the Mexican mountain beans whilst achieving the highest
extraction of caffeine (99.9%).

These decaf beans are a very tasty and full flavoured bean. They are easy to get a good extraction from and it was interesting to get a decaf bean from Mexico.

I have found that almost all decaf beans I have used come from Columbia. Nothing wrong with that, it is just nice to find one of the number of decaf beans I have used coming from a different region. Interesting to explore.

It was nice to see the beans had a few days from roasting date on them when I received them. I dislike having to wait days before I can use beans due to insufficient time to degas. There is such a thing as too fresh. These hit the right balance when I received them.

I thought the coffee was very mild , I got for my wife, I don’t have a problem drinking normal coffee, I did like the way you keep in touch with me though the delivery process. My machine is a breville brista express. It was $1300 plus when I first saw it , I got it for $790 on special, had one small problem, got fixed, now still good after 4years . You right about the grinder, so I got a second hand briville grinder, which works fantastic. Love watching your show keep the good work up .

Great coffee

It's very hard ro find a great tasting decaf coffee but this coffee is great quality and taste amazing as well 👌

Good beans

I have only been drinking decaf recently so Im by no means an expert. However, the beans were great and I would purchase again. In terms of roasting it appeared to me to be very consistent so no issues with the roaster. I ordered in the afternoon and they were done the first thing next day.
Whether you like the beans or not is personal but no issues with the roaster or customer service both areas were 5 star.
