This Kenyan is a crop of coffee from the Vava coffee delivered from a community of passionate individuals and farmers working towards one goal: using coffee to empower communities. These people are located in Kajiado county from the community of Maasai. The main goal of the organiser, Vava, has a vision to  challenge the status quo and promote positive social disruption within the Coffee industry. With a high emphasis on elevating the opportunities for women and young girls within the community.

The Kenyan coffee presents the beautiful flavours of berries and chocolate which is presented from the Batian, Ruiru 11 and SL 34 which are SHG at 1600 -2100 MASL.

    Kenyan coffees are usually one of my favourites, as I love the extra acidity from the fruit flavours that come through. This one was a bit more subtle, especially when brewed through my siphon, but still has enough flavour to wake up the senses in the morning.
