Olivia Mowry is a student Filmmaker at the university in San Diego. Inspired by the amount of caffeine consumed during finals decided to create a filmclip with composer, singer Jené Nicole Johnson.
Granted, it would have been equally impressive to make the parody about coffee in general, but to misinformed Americans, a Starbucks coffee IS coffee. A coffee that is Iced, pumpkin spiced and comes in an oversized bucket with caramel-drizzled whipped cream and 15 extra teaspoons of sugar for good measure. And let’s face it, the punchline gets lost when you stuff “Do you wanna drink a Rwandan single-origin doppio espresso?” in to the melody.
We’ll settle for Starbucks this one time only.
